Why is it that as soon as Angelina Jolie revealed that she had a double mastectomy, breast cancer somehow got put on the map? People are saying how she “raised awareness” on it….shouldnt it be a big issue on its own? Why is it that when a celebrity goes through something as tragic as cancer people make such a huge deal for them, saying how brave they are to be going through it, when in reality millions of regular people deal with far worse conditions since they dont have the financial means to really get the help they need. They’re not more important just because theyre a celebrity.

I’ve come to learn that keeping your mouth shut protects you from alot of trouble.
